The Journal of Intelligent Engineering and Informatics (JIEI) supports responsible open-access publishing and author rights.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their published articles. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal the right to publish, distribute, archive, and display the article in electronic and print formats.

Author Rights

Authors may:

  • Share the published article.
  • Deposit the published article in institutional repositories.
  • Use the article in teaching and research.

Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material, including figures, tables, photographs, datasets, and long text extracts.

Preprint Policy

The JIEI allows authors to submit manuscripts that have been previously posted as preprints, provided that the preprint is disclosed at submission.
