Aims and Scope
Aims
The Journal of Intelligent Engineering and Informatics (JIEI) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to open-access publishing high-quality research in intelligent engineering systems, computing technologies, information systems, and secure digital infrastructure. The journal aims to provide a rigorous academic platform for researchers, engineers, academicians, industry professionals, and postgraduate scholars working at the intersection of engineering, artificial intelligence, electronics, computing, and information technology.
The JIEI encourages research that presents clear technical novelty, sound methodology, reproducible experimentation, strong theoretical or practical contribution, and meaningful relevance to engineering and technological advancement. It particularly welcomes studies that integrate intelligent algorithms, hardware/software systems, data-driven modelling, automation, secure computing, and real-world engineering applications.
Scope
The JIEI accepts original research articles, review articles, short communications, technical notes, case studies, and invited articles in, but not limited to, the following areas:

Out of Scope
The JIEI does not normally consider manuscripts that:
- Present routine applications of existing algorithms without technical novelty.
- Lack proper experimental validation or comparison with recent methods.
- Contain only simulation results without adequate explanation, justification, or reproducibility.
- Make exaggerated claims unsupported by results.
- Are purely commercial, promotional, or product-oriented.
- Fall outside engineering, computing, information technology, or intelligent systems.
